Aristotles Nicomachean Ethics???
Menang:
Here it is! :)
This may be a tad embarrassing - so just a quick disclaimer that philosophy and evaluation is new to me. But feel free to be harsh- I need to improve and I absolutely appreciate all your help! :D
--- Quote ---Aristotle’s function argument argues that human beings have a unique purpose that is separate from the functions of animals or plants – that is, a function that is not merely growth and nutrition or a pursuit of pleasure. Aristotle argues that this function must be fulfilled in order for a person to flourish and be happy. In making this argument Aristotle has assumed that everything has a function, but this cannot be true unless everything has been designed by a being with a purpose in mind. A good lyre player achieves his function well when he sets his mind to learning, practicing and playing the lyre – he sets out from the very beginning to learn this art. There is, however, no such pre-destined goal for human beings and therefore the assumption that our function is that which is unique to our species may not apply. In addition, Aristotle’s argument that rationality is the function of human beings ignores the fact that other characteristics which are not traditionally seen as virtuous, such as cruelty or the ability to lie, are also unique to us. In making the claim that man’s function is to live a virtuous and rational life, Aristotle has made logical jumps and assumptions and therefore this argument is not sound.

I've really only made 2 points (all I could think of), but it's under 250 words! :P
