I'm leaning towards physiology but really could do anything - learning some techniques in a lab over the summer and really enjoying that so I might try and do a major with lots of lab research stuff.

UROP?

Take the Microbes subject this year, it's lab based but still qualifies you for a bunch of other majors

If you did Biochem major/minor/lab subjects, it can lead you to Pathology/Neurophysio/Molecular Biology/Immunology research. Depends what kind of lab work you are after...

Thanks for the advice guys - yeh, I'll try to apply for UROP.  Do you know anyone who's done it and what they thought?

Opinions were mixed, some people thought it was great but others didn't like their project or their supervisor etc. I applied but on the final day (I forgot) so I wasn't expecting a callback for an interview.

ahhh...yeh, i'd expect it depends a LOT on supervisor.  what were the projects of people who liked it?
