Hey Guys
I've been trying to fix this myself and with the help of Melbourne Uni but they haven't been the best with my issue. They just refer me to other people who say the same thing and I've just become really confused by it...
Im doing Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting and Finance with accreditation and would also like to do the French Intermediate stream.
Study Plan is here
http://www.bcom.unimelb.edu.au/bachelor/majors/accounting.htmlIts just first year I'm stuck on. I only have one breadth to play around with, which I was hoping I could do French Intermediate Language and Culture A in... then I thought, how can I move on and whats the point of doing a semester in it if I can't progress.
Then I thought about moving PBL to Year 2/Semester 1 so I have space to do French A and B in year 1, then do a summer semester in something else so I can keep going with french up to Level 3B... but then theres that stupid rule that I can only do 37.5points of level one breadth, which in my case would only be PBL, ATA and French Intermediate Language and Culture A....
I noticed that there was an Intensive Intermediate French for summer semester that I'm interested in. But I'm not sure where that leads to. If I do that after Year 1, then in Year 2 can I go straight to level 2 intermediate french/post VCE ?
If anyone can help me out with what else I can do.. that'll be great. I emailed the subject teacher for French but he hasn't got back to me yet, and I already enrolled for French Intermediate A and since timetabling opens on Monday I figured I should organise this asap.
Thanks in advance !
