I'm trying to swap my chemistry practical with my breadth tutorial just to spread out the 7 hour day. This also give me an hour and half off around lunchtime on Wednesday :D Tuesday off, Friday afternoon off and only 2 9am starts.

Streams have somewhat limited me in that they all fall one after the other (Monday, Wednesday, Friday)!

Are you going to be able to handle Mondays? 10-5 without breaks is pretty full on.

That's what I'm worried about. I'm trying to swap out the chem practical but can't as all of the tute's for my breadth subject are unavailable. Doing this would give me about 25 minutes between the 4 lectures (which I have to do due to streams) which I think would be enough to keep me sane.

Otherwise I might just have to put my bio practical on tuesday and go to uni on a tuesday once a fortnight.

Also, I'm trying to keep a day off as I live in warrandyte which is in melbournes outer north east and it will take me over an hour to get to uni.

Whatlol:

1.  Your timetable gives you enough time to sleep in (a little hopefully).
2.  From Monday - Thursday, you have a consistent lunch break - a positive.
3.  You're pracs are at the end of the day - could a good thing since once you're done and tired, you can go home.
4.  On the topic of pracs, if you don't have a prac that week, you'll only have one class on Tuesday and/or a shorter day on Thursday.

In conclusion:

Your timetable is compact, gives your regular breaks in between especially before the 3 hour pracs.  The finishing times are at around 4:15 or 5 if you have a prac.  Good choice overall but with the ECON10004 tute, is there a 1:00 pm one?  Even if there is, the way you've put it is ok.

Is there any way you can move the Chem tute to Fridays at 2:15 pm?

I think there may be an eco tute at 1 or maybe even 2, ill have a look. Initially i aimed to avoid having any 2 hour breaks but for some reason the second set of physics lecture repeats isnt available to select so im faced with my current timetable,  which i suppose as you said its not too bad.

Thanks

I've had 3 hour breaks in first semester and sometimes it was good and sometimes it was bad.  the bad was that my friends were in class, I was stuck procrastinating and wasting time.  But in the end, it is a good timetable.  If you had my first semester timetable, you would scream.  The subjects just didn't go together and had 1-2 hour gaps everywhere.

Damn.  That's really yucky having it at 8 o'clock.  But if it makes you feel better, some biomed students have a lecture at 8 o'clock and I remember in my first semester there was a bio lecture at 8am for science students.

Nah, 9am ones if you're from the east.

EDIT:  Thinking that 8 am starts are the best are not considered if you live within ~5 km from UoM.  :P
