Chem help, AAS

Hey guys, I need help with question 24.b. on page 107 from the Yr 12 Heineman Chem textbook.

I've read through the worked solutions over and over again, but I don't seem to understand the step after this:

From the graph, [nickel] = 17ppm

17ppm = 17 micrograms per mL (assuming density is 1g per mL)

In 100mL, there is 17 micrograms x 100 = 1700micrograms.

Where do I go on from there? :(
