Hi,  I'm Burberry. You may remember me from threads such as "But why is the rum gone? The Fyrefly conundrum."

I noticed a few threads in the past couple of months on making notes, and thought I would post up a guide on making notes.

Step 1: Find a pen. See pen suggestion thread for details.
Step 2: Find paper.
Step 3: Condense information previously learnt from textbooks and class into your own words putting emphasis on testable concepts.

Alternatively you could type them up, it's quicker but not really as effective . (also see this and this.) However, if you do choose to type, try this.

Believe it or not, I learnt this stuff in a free TSFX lecture. Just saying. Didn't intend to plug TSFX or anything.

I actually learnt this stuff in grade 6 from my Indian parents (along with quadratics)... Not plugging Indian teaching methods though...
