chrisjb:
Thread title says it all.

jaccerz:
Chris are you doing this subject at your home school?

chrisjb:
yup, Glenny secondary :D

Also, I have a question finaly (but I think that perhaps it is more suited to an economics student, but i'll ask it here anyway as I might get a response.

I came across the term 'Multilateral Trade System' when reffering to the goals of teh WTO. What is the 'multilateral trade system'? I couldn't find anything that gave a direct definition on google... is it just another term for international trade?

jaccerz:
Well look at it this way.

Bilateral is between two states.
Multilateral is between many states.

so its the trade between many states being fair and equal as well as resolving any disputes. but how many lessons have you had of this subject so far? and is this part of Globalisation that they are teaching it?

chrisjb:
Yeah it is part of globalisation. I figgured that that would be the definition, but I couldn't work out in what context you would ever need to use the term... unless describing a trade treaty which many countries are signatories to...

And we have had... 5 classes so far.
