Lockers at Monash

only problem with that is i think i read somewhere their not meant to be long term/when you're not in the gym?, i want to store gym clothes and shoes somewhere when i'm not in the gym / in classes as well if there's something like that. After a bit of searching it appears there are lockers in commerce building or something for $30 a semester? anything like that for the med kids?

Nope. Most people I know who gymmed just carried another bag or one larger bag.

Lockers for 2011 will be available for sale from Student Services, ground floor of Sissons building, Thursday 24 February. Locker availability is limited, as preference is given to new first year students. Please bring in a lock and show it to Student Services before you purchase your locker. Price of the lockers is $5.00"

the $5 ones are referring to the Monash parkville campus - i don't know much about them
the $30/semester ones are at the Monash clayton campus (lower ground floor)
and the temporary sports one are $2 refundable deposit ones at the monash sports centre (clayton) - not sure about other campuses though

Parkville ones you pretty much HAVE to get since you got no where to put your stuff when you are going to the prac, it's also good so you never have to remember to bring your lab coat and safety glasses.
You can get them anytime but apparently they run out quickly? I'm not sure but there is no reason to not get it since you'll definitely need it sooner or later.
