guys i need answers for this questions and back up theories

For what angle will the horizontal speed be the fastest?
For what angle will the time travelled be the least?

Not sure, but I think the horizontal speed will be greatest when their is no angle, (that is angle=0).
You can prove that it is faster as it gets to 0, think about this:

Two balls have been launched at 16ms^-1 at angles of 5 degrees and 45 degrees.
Use Pythagoras to find the value of Ux (initial horizontal velocity)

Youll see that it will be higher with the one at 5 degrees.

The other one is also the same. Try the same thing and get the Uy (initial vertical velocity).
Formula for total flight is (2xUy) /g (g=10)
And youll see that the less Uy is the less the time will be.
Try them out.
