Are there any for Stasiland and Hamlet? Also are there study guides for Literature in general that are helpful?

I haven't finish reading yet, but my teacher recommended How to Read a Poem by Terry Eagleton. I guess it especially helps the lit kids doing poetry, but it's also applicable to novels/plays etc.

We use an Insight study guide, which is for Literature in general. I know that insight also do study guides for a few english books, but you'd have to look specifically for your books, and see if they have them. Sparknotes.com is also an excellent resource - you can either view them online, or buy their books.

Don't buy study guides..... and they would be catered towards a vce english style I think anyways, not a literature style. What EZ and I did to a lesser extent was make our own notes which became our study guide. Write YOUR OWN character analysis, theme analysis (I use the word broadly cause you know what Literature is like with themes ==), interpretations, etc. get your teacher to mark them if you're unsure.

Try to find the study guide by York Notes or any other non-VCE study guide for Hamlet. It's a classic so there'll be study guides designed for uni level and so.
