Dot-points is actually better than large paras (especially for bio). Advantages of dot-points:
- makes easier reading for examiner(s)
- makes it easier for examiner(s) to 'tick boxes' for the points they are looking for
- prevents 'memory dumping' useless/unnecessary information on a question
- keeps answers concise and saves time
