I think ethers are, but aldehydes and ketones aren't

they are just another type of organic compound
from memory, Ketone has the carbonyl functional group (C double bond O) bonded to two other carbon atoms

Condensation is the elimination of water..so when to molecules combine and their product is water

Hydrolysis is the exact opposite, so the addition of water to de-combine (don't know if that's even a word) the molecules.

Hydrogenation is the addition of hydrogen.

In year twelve, I do not remember naming ethers...
