Hey guys, just wondering if anyone knows a place (other than the school library or Officeworks) that does cheap bulk printing?

Cheers.

Damn, I was going to suggest Officeworks! They have really great bulk print deals.

I printed about 30+ exams at school for methods last year... but I did it maybe 5-10 at a time so no one really questioned it... does your school charge? You could ask your school office maybe... they will probably be nicer than the librarians...

We only get $20.00 of credit to use for the year, pages cost 20c each and no double sided... Urgh

And worst of all, we can't get any more credit!

Officeworks is really your best bet unless you find a good deal somewhere else.

Why dont you want to go to officeworks? Its how i got all my exams printed.

3c/recycled paper page @ officeworks.

Relatively better for the environment and your wallet.

edit: not posting for the rest of the year due to my postcount.

edit2: damn I knew someone would ask me a follow up question, I was serious about not posting again so I'll just reply here and hopefully he sees this.

Any rough idea how much printing is at the local libraries?

There's a printing credit machine at school where you just swipe your card and slot the money in.. but I'm not paying that much for printing, especially when I've gotta print hundreds of pages!

Oh and burbs, are you sure the 3c/page for recycled paper includes the actual printing AND paper? I called Officeworks about this a while ago and they said it was 3c for JUST one sheet of recycled paper. :S

No, I am not sure, trust them, they are probably more aware of the pricing than I am :P

That's actually pretty good.

I was going to say that buying ink and using your own printer would leave you much better off (although I haven't tested this) but maybe that's a pretty good deal. It's a lot more comforting and convenient to have a printer at home, though. I know this because my printer is stuffed and it's a real pain to print things every three days at uni.

What the heck D: Why don't they let you buy anymore credit? That seems like such an unreasonable system.

No shit, I tried for more last year when printing BM exams and apparently I was "unreasonably abusing the system", and that "$20.00 is plenty enough for everyday school activities". The very next day, our VCE coordinator tells us in assembly that we should attempt "at least 2 practice exams for each subject that you do". Go figure eh?
