I'm trying to de-construct this essay topic but I haven't written a character-based essay in so long I'm a little stuck on this one, help would be appreciated!

'Paul Crabbe changes from a selfish youth to a sensitive young man.' Discuss.

How would you split this topic into 4 body paragraphs? It seems pretty limited considering Paul is the only major character that can be explored in detail...

'Paul Crabbe changes from a selfish youth to a sensitive young man.' Discuss.

Try these:

1.  Paul as a selfish youth
2.  Paul's development: outside influences
3.  Paul's development: personal choices
4.  Paul as a sensitive young man
I think, I speak, I act. Therefore... I create my own reality.
