I have the following data:

Methanol= Volume: 20mls         Molar Mass: 32gmol-1

Can you find the amount in mole????  and if so can I use (mol X molar mass = Mass)  to find the mass??

Thanks :smitten:

You need more information - probably concentration. Does the question say "standard" methanol or "pure" methanol or even "liquid" methanol or something like that?

Nope. But it does say 'Density (d) of water at 25 degrees celcius = 1.00g mL^-1'
The formula for density is: D=m/v
