3rd June - Final essay due (worth 60%, kind of the equivalent) Developing World

I'm attempting the take home exam right now. It's killing me, it really is.

It's not as hard as you might think. It's only 250 words and you can take a LOT of it from the textbook. Then you need to use another resource, so just look at the references for the chapter that you've read and voila. Remember, it's only 250 words so you don't need an intense, in depth response, just a demonstration that you understand the basics :)

It's a lack of interest that's really making me difficult for me. The subject was not at all what I expected.
The dreams that you dare to dream really do come true.

That sucks, it is hard to study something you're not interested in. Just try to find the 5 you're most interested in I guess, or alternatively find 5 that you can draw right from the textbook and you won't need too much effort anyway. The theories and approaches are pretty straightforward, as is the poverty question.

So does biomedicine have only 3 exams whilst science has four?
Ancient Persian Proverb; " I Wept because i had no Shoes, until i saw a man with no feet!"

First they came for the Socialists, and I did not speak out --
Because I was not a Socialist.
Then they came for the Trade Unionists, and I did not speak out --
Because I was not a Trade Unionist.
Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out --
Because I was not a Jew.
Then they came for me -- and there was no one left to speak for me.

Demonstrator names muscle, you indicate it. You have to name pins that have been stuck in the prosection etc. Some subjects require you to work on a cadaver over the semester and isolate certain elements etc.

Depends on breadth

Nah not really. We have the exam in one of the med building where they run a powerpoint slide show on the computers. Then you get a separate sheet where you answer multi choice questions based on the diagrams on the powerpoint slides. Thank god we don't have to dissect for the exams, I'll probably make a horrible mess...
