1 is doable, though I doubt they'd make you do something like that. More of a further electronics type thing.
Again 2 is pretty self explanatory, there was a question about efficiency with laser diodes last year so I don't see why they couldn't ask this.
3 is definitely not on the current course.

Yes, they give you the formula. Ratio = (Freq of V_in) / (Freq of V_out)

I don't know if you know the frequencies or not, as I don't have the previous question(s).
