Automotive Engineering?
JustJDee:
Hey guys,
I'm currently completing year 12 this year and decided it was time to start narrowing down my course preferences for uni. I definitely want to get into engineering, specifically in the automotive industry, but im not quite sure which course is best suited for it.
Is aerospace or mechatronics engineering more suited for the automotive industry? Im also aware that aerospace is much harder to get into, but i am surely up for the challenge !
Any advice is greatly appreciated,
thanks :)

I think Aerospace or Mechanical are the two best ways into the Automotive Industry
Mechatronics can also lead to a job in the Auto Industry, but moreso to do with technology within cars :)
xZero:
go with aerospace (im biased ;))

ground- mechanical, air - aerospace.
Obviously, air > ground. Might be a little biased here :)

haha thanks for the advice, even if it was a bit biased ;)
But honestly i'm keen on aiming for aerospace, except i'm not interested in planes at all, im more of a car guy. Sounds silly i know, but i heard that a degree in aerospace gives you a better chance with job opportunities in the automotive industry over just a mechanical degree. Is this true?
