how hard is it to get a 37-38 + study score, raw

I did VCD last year and got a 37
my marks were
GA1 A
GA2 A+
GA3 B+
i was in year 11, and i was unaware about the marking system and thought i'd get a 45 hahaha. oh how naive i was.

can anyone suggest any possible study score outcomes with these results.
ranked 1st out of a class made up of 8 people.
i scored 88/100 for term 4, so around A. this term, the teacher said i expect any where between high A or A+ for my term 4 folio/s. For my exam, if i can shell out a mid A to a mid A+, what would you expect my mark to be? Also what would be the minimum to get in my exam in order to secure that 40+? thanx

A,A,A: I'd say 37 or 38

me too...
and what i meant by the 'marking system' is that i didn't understand what marks got you over 40, and how much preperation was necessary for the exam.
don't underestimate the difficultly of the exam - it's hard to do well.
