A weird sac question? :P

So for my core sac there was a question to randomly select 20 countries in the data sheet to use as my analysis data, when i chose the 20 countries the next question asked how did i select these countries. I found that a bit weird but my answer was to just "choosing any random countries." So now i'm wondering who would you guys answer this question? i havent got the results for this sac yet

I had a similar question on my core sac. I'm pretty sure you're meant to say that you used random selection on your CAS to avoid any personal bias... And you would list the steps that you did on your CAS (what buttons you pressed, etc.)

I think I did a few of these last year and they it is unlikely to occur on the final exam. Although, I will try help still.
Is there more than 20 countries on the list?
If so, you can do the random generator on the calculator and it normally gives you a number within the range that you gave it. Say there are 40 countries on the list the generator will pick a number from 1-40 and that number will coincide with a country on your list.

Edit: Ech beat me to it. Good job  :)

Don't worry about it. I made a few silly mistakes last year. As long as you know what you did wrong.
Learn from this mistake and make sure you know what to do next time it comes up.

Just for future reference, on the Casio Classpad 330 the 'randlist' function is what we use in this situation.

Input = randlist(number of random selections, min, max).

So 10 random numbers between 1 and 30 looks like this: randlist(10,1,30)
