Hmmm, he knew his stuff I suppose, but he went half an hour over time for AOS 1 and was rushing the whole way through it. I feel that it was too brief and he didn't really give you more than any teacher would when learning Chem throughout unit 3.

That's just my opinion though
Yeah wasnt that bad, as luke said he was rushing for the most part, but he did go through some stuff in a little more detail than others. He mentioned a few weak spots and stuff which was ok. Altho i would have like it if we had covered more of the DNA stuff :/

But yeah i might be going to the other lecture that Chris Dwyer is doin

Yeah he was okay but i would've rather he explain more of the theory around spectroscopy rather than making us do a whole bunch of questions and then showing us how to do them.
Also the second lecturer kept using the old projector thing where she put see through paper onto it so it will magnify onto the screen and I was sitting near the middle and couldn't really see half the stuff she wrote lol
2010: Accounting [45], Legal Studies [42]
2011: Methods [38], English [41], Chem [37], Revolutions [44], Vietnamese [22]
ATAR: 97.45
2012-2014: B.Com @ Melb

Lol yeah her head was covering the screen most of the time... Yep i reckon we did too many questions, i wanted him to explain spec. and chrom. in more detail.

Haha that was my friend's mum. She kept trying to yell out to her mum to get her hair out of the way.

We're also offering one - Eddie is running it (scocliffe) if you're interested and he's aiming to be really relevant to the exam by looking at challenging aspects in-depth. Sometimes the bigger companies tend to skim through everything..

Is this because they extended it by an hour?

Just got an email from TSFX about the lecture on the 21st.

Code: [Select]
In order to provide students with the best possible preparation for the forthcoming exams, we have scheduled an additional one hour lecture to address the “Biochemistry” component of the course (i.e. Carbohydrates, lipids, proteins and DNA) at no charge to students. This lecture will be held between 5pm and 6pm on Saturday 28 May, and repeated on Sunday 29 May and Sunday 5 June 2011 at the University of Melbourne. If you are interested in attending this lecture, please contact TSFX on 966 333 11 or via email ([email protected]). If registering by email, please indicate which lecture date you wish to attend. Confirmations and venue details for this extra lecture will be sent by email.

Is anyone else planning to go to this?

Yep, going tomorrow after physics, will probably be like 5-10 mins late though if physics finishes late like the chem one
