What happens if two or more people receive the same internal mark?

Say two people are ranked equal first (with nothing separating them in SAC's) how will their SAC score be moderated by the exam?

the teacher will never rank students equally together so that both students won't be affected. The teacher will probably give an extra mark to the student he/she thinks is better so that if everyone does badly on the exam, both the students wont be affected, only one would.

but just say if its like a math sac. and 2 students get the same mark, the teacher cant give extra marks to one student?

it's only when all the sacs are done and recorded. it's not for individual sacs but rather the whole.

Teachers often make the rankings distinct - this will benefit one student. If I recall correctly, two students with equal ranking both receive the lower exam mark as their moderated SAC mark. :)
