Concordancy of titres

In VCE are concordant titres within a certain range from each other (ie. 0.1 mL difference) or are they simply the three closest titres?

The Heinemann textbook used a 0.1 mL range in their examples whereas a trial exam I have done used the three closest ones where the largest difference two of the titres was 0.23 mL.

So, for the exam how should we be dealing with concordancy?

According to TSFX, they should be in a 0.1mL range.

When you want concordant results, you get the 3 that are within 0.10ml of each other.

What company exam was that?

About Philosophy

When I see a youth thus engaged,—the study appears to me to be in character, and becoming a man of liberal education, and him who neglects philosophy I regard as an inferior man, who will never aspire to anything great or noble. But if I see him continuing the study in later life, and not leaving off, I should like to beat him - Callicle

According to TSFX, they should be in a 0.05mL range.

EDIT: Hahaha wow that's what I meant +-0.05mL... can only blame this on 9 hour chemistry overload :D

Well, at least that's what they said today...
They should probably get their facts straight...  :idiot2:
They says its a +/- 0.05ml range. the 1ml means from the highest titre to the lowest titre, as long as they are both within .05 ml of the middle one. so you can have 17.05ml, 17.10ml and 17.15ml as titres although the highest and lowest are not within 0.05ml of eachother

So what happens if each are 0.11ml from the next? Which (if any) do you take?

Well i'd say if they give you 4 or 5 titres take 3 of the closest ones and get the average
because you have to have minimum of 3 to have a concordant titre

If its even 0.01mL over the concordant titration range, you have to do another titration. (Well, it's what my teacher made my group do when we were 0.02mL out of the concordant titration range)
