Nothing in Unit 1 is relevant to Unit 2.

Electronics (mostly basic stuff) in U1 is relevant to U3.

Yep. Even then, you can pick that stuff up with a bit of practice.
Lol, we're doing nuclear physics atm.. and that isn't in the 3/4 course.

Unit 2 (Motion etc) is where the fun starts anyway ;)

You can do it.

You could do 3/4 without 1/2! I did absolutely nothing for units 1/2 and have nearly got perfect scores on both my sacs this year (3/4). If you enjoy it, it will be easy!

It may have changed, but back in 2008 at my alma mater, students in year 10 could take unit 2 physics without unit 1... and then take units 3/4 in year 12. It's definitely possible - as others here have stated, the VCE physics doesn't move very quickly. I'm pretty sure the course has changed since I did physics, but if the only part of unit 1 relevant to unit 3 is electronics, you should be fine. It I recall, year 11 electronics is basically just V=IR. If it's any help, I skipped unit 1, accelerated the subject, and obtained a 50, so you should be fine. If you have any trouble, I'm sure people here can help you out :)
