I bombed a sac!?!

Hey guys, I'm new to this, so be kind  :P
I'm in Year 11 and I'm doing Legal 3 & 4 this year. For my two sacs so far, I got 95% for the first, but completely bombed the second (the one worth 50!). I went down to 56%. I've got my third one on Friday, and I was wondering what should I be aiming for to get a good enough study score or overall just pass unit 3? Also, if any of you have done the third sac, any tips would be awesome.

Thankyou (:

Hey welcome! My advice would be to aim to get a good enough study score; whatever it may be. Don't let one poor SAC result change anything; have a positive attitude and keep at it. I'm doing my third (AOS 3) SAC on Monday, so I'll give you more tips when I complete it. Know your cases back-to-front - Mabo case, Deing v. Tarola case etc. Refer to the new study design on the VCAA website for more information on what areas to study for. Good luck!

If you do well on the end of year exam, then SAC's count for fuck all anyway. But if you do sub-par on the exam then your SAC's get a bit more of a notice.

Just focus on the exam, it's your only one.

I did my AOS 3 SAC today. The main areas I would be focusing on include; the relationship between Parliament and the courts, strengths and weaknesses of the courts as law-makers, how the Doctrine of Precedent operates, reasons for statutory interpretation and methods of avoiding precedent; overruling, reversing etc. In terms of knowing the various cases, what I've attached below might be useful to you.

These two are most important according to me, even for November examination, this will really help you to understand why we have hierarchy of courts and why we have precedent...
