Carboxylic Acid Queries!!

If anyone can help:

Does a carboxylic acid have a higher or lower BP than an alcohol?

Whats  the order of BP from lowest to highest between an alkene, alkane, alcohol, carboxyl and ester, with the same number of C atoms?

And would you use Gas Chromatography or HPLC for analysing a Carboxylic acid?

Cheers x

Acids have a higher boiling point than alcohols, more intermolecular attraction i think.
the order probably is (i think) alkene;alkane;ester;alcohol;carboxyl
HPLC for carboxylic acid, as its more often in liquid form than the volatile gas.
