Average titre

Would the strength of an acid or base affect the average titre. For example lets say we swapped the solution of HCl in a burrete for ethanoic acid.

Short answer, no.

Long answer, the average titre is there so we can find the stoichimetric ratio between the acid and base where they completely undergo neutralization. Salt + Water.



PS: Correct me if I"m wrong anyone.

Nope. Titration is all about reaching the point at which n(Acid) = n(Base), hence whether it is weak or strong doesn't vary the number of moles in the solution.

The only thing that you have to watch is for diprotic acids, as they require double the amount of base to be neutralised.
