Hey, what does everyone think of the unit 4 detailed studies? Anybody had a look at them yet, or know what they're doing? I'm thinking I'd like to do the synchrotron.

You get to choose?

I think we're doing Sound

Well yeah if you want to you can, it's just a bit trickier. I did relativity for unit 3 but my class did structures.

I'm pretty sure I'm doing sound. It doesn't look too bad.

I'm not going to go and one of the other detailed studies, I prefer listening to the teacher's explanations and the class discussions (they got pretty interesting with relativity).

Unit 4  looks alot boring than Unit 3 with the lack of motion...

electricity,light,sound.. all boring..

Motion is the most interesting section imo
:D :) ;D :D :) ;D :D :) ;D :D :) ;D :D :) ;D :D :) ;D

I think I prefer Unit 4 to Unit 3, I'm pretty interested in the electricity stuff.

My teacher is an absolute dud so listening to him just makes things confusing!

I think our school is doing sound/waves or something along those lines. Having a quick look at the textbook, it reminds me a lot of the stuff we learned in Unit 1/2 Physics! I swear that's where my teacher got all the diagrams from the standing waves!

When you guys get to choose your own detailed study do you get a separate sac for it? If we want to do something else we have learn both and do a sac for the one our class is doing...

Yep, thats the reason it's probably best to do the same detailed study as your class is doing. If you do decide to do your own, you'll have to study for both.
Our school is doing Sound, would've preferred to do Photonics to be honest lol.

As disafear said, I think I'll be attempting 'sound'
