Dr G if you're still consolidating concepts and having trouble understanding them. He's excellent for that sort of thing. Dr He is for pushing you from the low 40s to the high 40s, meaning you already need to understand and know your stuff. Dr He isn't the best teacher per se, but he's good at helping you iron out mistakes and increase your exposure to interesting ways to solve problems and so on. Or you could be like me and have both :P Dr G was my school teacher for Maths for year 10, 11 and 12. Lucky eh?

Nope, he tutors a few of my MHS friends atm at one of his houses mansions.

I have friends who go to both, and I'd say that on average, the Dr He kids are much better at spesh and methods. But then again, those kids were much better in yr 9 and 10 maths too, so its a difficult comparison at who improves the most. But shinny's advice is gold.

(btw shinny, yarussky is better :D)

P.S. should be be allowed to vote in this thread? (tuition, etc.)

Dr. G doesn't discriminate with his intake, Dr. He makes you take a bloody test before you get into his "tuition" classes. I think the two serve a reasonably different purpose, Dr. G in my opinion will improve you regardless of your skill level, Dr. He is just trying to get high 30's/low 40s to mid-high 40s. I personally dislike the concept, but he seems to output students with some very high marks irrespective of whether it was due to his teaching or not.
