Around 2-3 hours, usually from 8-11pm
I remember when it was 0.5-1 hour before Year 12. Then it all got serious

That's my homework every night, except a day before a SAC I choose to do about 2-3hrs. Been working a treat thus far!

What's homework like for Uni? What format does it usually take
Thought itd be easier, since you are doing one subject

You do one subject at uni? News to me.

Uni doesn't set homework other than assignments, most of the time is just individual study. Pretend that instead of explaining every concept really carefully your teacher just outlined them and left it up to you to work out the details

You don't get given homework. It's self study. I spent almost 8 hours a day on some assignments, and exam revision was 12+ hours a day. This is me trying to maintain 9.0 GPA so I can slack off in later years and still get offered highest honours.

That being said, some of the exams are ten times easier than VCE exams.

If you had to study cram 12+ hours a day for exams, I'm guessing you didn't work consistently over the semester.

Also, I'm sorry to say it, but this concept of working hard in early years so you can slack of in later years is idiotic. If you want to pass, it works the other way around. First year subjects are generally easier than later year subjects.
