What are you up to + Holidays

We've pretty much finished the light area of study in class now, we've just got the SAC left to do.

What work are people planning to do over these holidays?

I'm planning on completing the checkpoints questions for light and will probably end up completing the rest of Unit 4. I'll be using an alternate textbook to do that though, most likely the Nelson book (we use the Heinemann book in class).

At a minimum I'll revise light, complete the sound detailed study and get a rough idea of electricity + magnetism.

I'll probably be working on checkpoint questions and start some prac exams. Just the topics i've covered.

I'll try and finish electricity/magnetism and the synchrotron and try and start light.

Where did you get the Nelson book from? Obviously you prefer it to heinemann, but how come?

I have Nelson pdf but don't want to upload it because it's not aloud anymore. If you can suggest a external file sharer i will happily upload it there.

I borrowed the CD from a friend.

I find the explanations are better worded and also go into a bit more depth (even though the chapters are shorter). The questions are also more interesting and challenging than the Heinemann book. The PDF was uploaded here a while back, search for it ;).

Would you be able to email it to me? Or is it too big?
