STS-135 The Final Space Shuttle Launch

Do you think we will even make it to the Mars program or will the funding be cut before then. Preety much since we landed on the moon the funding has been declining ever since. Sad really, we need someone to give the americans some competition and make them care about it once again, to captivate the world again.

Russia is still doing shuttle launches.

NASA is going to cooperate with them to get astronauts to/from the IST.

Obama was wrong to cut the constellation program.

I'm guessing those of you who are watching will be doing this or know of it but you can track the shuttle in google earth now. http://www.nasa.gov/mission_pages/shuttle/shuttlemissions/shuttle_google_earth.html

Russia isn't exaclty doing "shuttle" launches but rather sendind their souyz craft up, it is not a shuttle. The russians did build a shuttle but never actaully really used it for anything, then it was destroyed in a hangar collapse.

A small glitch at t-30 seconds but a successful launch. What makes me sad now is that we will never see another shuttle launch again.  :'(
