Pre-req for Physics 2: Physical Science and Technology

It states:
 VCE Unit 3/4 Physics and Unit 3/4 Mathematical Methods or equivalent.

It will be assumed that students are familiar with the content of PHYC10001 Physics 1: Advanced or PHYC10003 Physics 1 or PHYC10005 Physics 1: Fundamentals.

Knowing the above information, does that mean students can ACTUALLY undertake this subject without having any OFFICIAL physics background whatsoever? Is one allowed to take this subject? (sure theyll be MAJOR struggles on the way).

It says you need Physics 3/4. I'd call that official physics background...
