The SD course this year is a mess! Many teachers do not know exactly what is required. There are no study guides for this course (2011) - I have been searching far and wide. Worst of all, the primary textbook for this subject by Adrian Jason is an absolute shocker!!!!
Does anyone have more resources, study notes, guides, exams, class notes??
This is the sort of subject we really need to collaborate on in particular. Huss48 is doing a great job so far but we need more eager contributors.

Don't post or subscribe to that, you'd probably get kicked off (and they'd most likely hike up security), but you can access the archives. Lots of teachers discussing stuff and sharing resources. I know for the IT Apps one sometimes VCAA posts to clear issues up.

Swinburne runs quite a few VCE IT days. They've got an end of year revision lecture for both Apps and SD, a "VCE Software Development Day" on the 19th and 26th of July. Might be worth getting your teacher to book that excursion for that SD day.
