EXCEL Static Date Stamps

Hey, The date stamps were working yesterday, but when I try to enter data in column B today the date doesn't appear in column A?

did you save it as a macro-enabled worksheet?

and did you allow the security to run macros?

I think so? Could you explain what I would need to do.
