Yep, going to TSFX for AMFAS (A Man for all Seasons), general text response and Encountering Conflict context. Also doing 13 practice essays, about 7 essays, 4 context-based essays and 2 language analysis tasks (I can't be bothered finding articles :P) Well, this pretty much solidified where I will be this holidays; home sweet home!

I'm going to TSFX for LBW, Encountering conflict and language analysis. I'm aiming to do 5 essays on each section, although I think I will end up doing a lot more.

Is anyone else like I was and finds it pointless writing out essays? I used to get essay questions off exam papers and just write out a plan for my essay, and possibly the introduction. But after 7 years of writing essays in high school english, the rest kinda does itself...

Anyway, I recommend that in studying for english, you make use of both your peers and your teachers. Peers because if you both write a response to the same essay question or same language analysis, you learn a lot from comparing and collaborating afterwards, and teachers because they (should) know their shit, so they can tell you what you're doing right and what you're doing wrong. There's no point in doing exam paper after exam paper after exam paper if you don't get a lot of feedback out of it.

I aim to do about 5 essays for each part of the exam(text response, context, analysis) and I'll be going into school during the holidays as they're running a practice exam.

So yeah thats about it. My hopes aren't too high for english...

Lol, my school is also running a practice English exam. The teachers have placed much emphasis on it; especially to those like me (I don't know why I am always singled out... They expect me to get dux of English or something... :(). The funny thing is, it is right before my lecture on Encountering Conflict... Should I go and miss out on my Uni lecture? :P

Oooo tough choice...

Are there any other lecture times you can get to?? I dunno, but for me I'm keen to do as many practice english exams as possible.

I will probably be sitting at the back... All alone. Only with a very depressed and congested look on my face; trying to recluse myself from every human being imaginable... I hope you can all get a glimpse of who I am now. :P

Lol... As if ;D
