It was about the inclined plane with a pulley at the end. You needed to find A and B where A is the minimum angle for equilibrium and B was the maximum possible angle. Like many of the questions, i remember getting A=7.8 and B=30.4, but i have no idea how i did it...

I screwed that one up so badly...
I just wrote junk for it, couldn't figure out how to do it

yeah that pulleys one was the main problem i had with the exam, the rest i pretty much handled, but teh asnwer for A and B i got made no sense lol ... i had no clue at all

To find lower and upper bounds for theta you had to consider two cases. If the frictional force is acting down the plane or up the plane. By solving some equation involving sin and cos you eventually get those answers.
