Yeah, but you could just plot the equation and find the x-intercept. Wouldn't be hard on any calculator...  8)

i graphed the fint(f(x),x,8,x) and the other function, and found intercept, but the fuking calculator, 84+ takes like 50-60secs to graph it, and i graphed about 3-4 times with wrong scale... everytime change the window, take that long to graph again.
and takes like 1 min to find intercept too...
is there any better way to attempt it?

Use a CAS calculator and the solve function. Takes a few seconds.
