--- Quote from: "elaine98" ---really- which one?

and what did you put for the last question?
--- End quote ---

The remuneration package =]

Anyways...
Last qn:
Definition of ESR..
Issues were environmental-pollution and redundancies...
Positives- chance to fix their image, technology would help improve productivity...
Negatives- poor PR, facing prosecution, losing customers etc..
Also spoke about how implementing CSR into the company would help benefit the company..
Can't remember my exact answer lol but thats something along those lines

oh yeah that makes sense...if only i could've thought of that in the bloody exam!

Lol i thought of that in the last 10 mins :P hehe

joshuamorgan:

--- Quote from: "elaine98" ---
--- Quote from: "joshuamorgan" ---For the last question I defined both ethics and social responsibility. I then said that the oil polluting waterways was an unethical activity and that, as an act of social responsibility, Jerome could pull his staff out-of-office for one day to assist in cleaning the water ways. I then provided pros and cons for social responsibility (such as, initial cost/training associated with implementing CSR, but the pay off in terms of increased staff pride and loyalty, and therefore increased productivity -> attainment of organizational objectives, and also that customers are likely to become aware of such practices and as such the organization will have a more positive reputation -> increased competitiveness).
--- End quote ---

that's an awesome answer, but how about the "postive effects of the social responsibility issue, i.e the spillage"? people in my class were saying stuff like that it lead to improved technology and improved operations.
--- End quote ---

I must of misinterpreted the question then - I just put two positive and two negative effects for social responsibility and ethics. That is, four points in total, not eight. Which I'm hoping is correct given that it's worth 6 marks - 4 for each point, 1 for each definition.

Odette:
So what you're saying is:
1 mark for definition
1 mark for identifying the issues
2 marks for positive aspects
2 marks for negative aspects

Yes?? No?? lol

yeah i'm confused too lol

joshuamorgan:
1 mark for defining ethics.
1 mark for defining social responsibility.
1 mark for social responsibility: positive.
1 mark for social responsibility: negative.
1 mark for ethics: positive.
1 mark for ethics: negative.

It's probably wishful thinking. :P
