All of them look so awesome...
--- Quote from: psychlaw on October 19, 2008, 06:59:38 pm ---which ones would help with medicine / gamsat most?

Med - defence and disease, pathology, physiology, human structure and function, immunology
GAMSAT - Not entirely sure, maybe biochem subjects.
shinny:
What's actually tested on GAMSAT? o_O I thought it was just similar to UMAT, but if biochem helps with it, then is it more specific?

It tests knowledge related to 1st year university biology, 1st year university chemistry and vce level physics
and you have to write an essay... so english/bio/chem/physics skills :D
no its not like umat, because to do well in GAMSAT you actually have to study/prepare (which I suppose you can do to an extent with UMAT)

Really? Link?
Deakin and Monash postgrad you can get into medicine with any course at all, so long as you attain good marks and are able to do well on the GAMSAT.
BA22:
Yeh, melbourne expect your undergraduate degree to cover specific aspects such as biochem, as always, this is very similar to american colleges

slide 23
I think the GAMSAT knowledge level is more comparable to high school bio, chem and physics than 1st year university.
