I don't do Chinese.. But I do 3/4 Japanese and French...
Our teachers have suggested "Leading Edge" as practice paper..
I think they have them for all LOTE subjects...
GOOD LUCK

Apparently VCAA changes the study design this year which means it's pointless to go through the pastpapers coz it won't be the same as this year. But i strongly recommend you to go through every topics in writing part
Remember if u do well in writing part, your score will be high

Not necessarily.. Section Number of
questions
Section 1 – Part A (Listening) -respond in English        15 MARKS
Section 1 - Part B (Listening)- Respond in LOTE          15 MARKS
Section 2 – Part A (reading) Respond in English           20 MARKS
Section 2 - Part B  (reading) Respond in LOTE             10 MARKS
Section 3             (Writing task)                              15 Marks

* Therefore you should do well in Reading answering in English!!
Oh well you can't change what you have already done..
& WHO said that VCAA has changed it ??

ruilan's made a book called "i can read and translate", and also produced some paper

I used leading edge, its okay cept for a few trivail mistakes that can be misleading at times

oh and if you would like a good prediction of your score, i suggest that you let your teachers mark your trial exams instead of your peer students, ( who gave me extremely lenient marks -_-). Well, if your teachers get lazy and tries to kick you around (that can happen, it happened to me before) i suggest that you constantly bag them - politely. they may ultimately dislike you but you will get what you want since they will still appreciate your effort xD.
well the limit can turn into a threshold..

But the only big change for Chinese was include the translation part.  You don't need practice exams for that.  To improve translation, just grab a random passage and translate it.

That's what I did because the year I did Chinese was the year translation was introduced so I had to practice papers to fall back on.
