1984 question 2 was about the best question imaginable...

I think the other sections went well too :)

Now time to forget English! (or at least until the 15th of December)

I'm pretty happy with how things turned out.

Wrote 5 pages for text and context, 4 and 3/4 for analysis. The whose reality prompt was quite terrible to say the least...

Future suggestion to VCAA: Less confusing things to fill out on the damn script books please!

lol I know... I got stuck with using his (not sure if it's a girl/boy) name too.. although I tried not excessively use it.. I sometimes wrote 'The writer..' which made me feel a bit uncomfortable! I wish Sam bloody had a last name!

I referred to the writer as "Sam" sometimes but kept out "him/her"etc...wonder if I'll get marked down for using the first name? :(

was ok, lbw good second topic, the first seemed a bit shallow since that was a sample one wasn't it? so i reckon alot of ppl woulda done that one.  context awesome prompt imaginative landscape, analysis was alright..did anyone mention the pciture as near the end?

thought i went okay

HT was an easy topic, though i probably talked about a couple of irrelevant points :/ 6-7/10

had to change my context format from a transcript to a article lol - still i thought i covered the criteria - 8/10 hopefully

LA was piss easy, should get 9 minimum tbh. the only time i retold the stuff in the newsletter was for the openings of my paragraphs which = 3 lines. the rest was about how it would affect the intended audience and what reactions would it evoke/ what actions they may undertake

but anyway, FUCK YES ITS OVERRRRR WOOOOOOOOOOOO

I think I did pretty well on everything but the Context, which I left last and had to rush. Thought it was a good prompt (for Whose Reality), but meh, I still think the whole context stuff is so confusing. =/

I thought I'd be happy to have it over with etc, but now I'm just incredibly anxious to see how I went! 45 days of anxiety for the win!

I used Sam's name because it was the only name given. I've never done a language analysis where the last name hasnt been given so I wasnt sure what I should do. I know the rule of using the last name but considering there was none I used Sam. Meh, most of the state would have written Sam. Future reference VCAA: GIVE STUEDNTS A LAST NAME!

I also wasnt sure if Sam was a girl or a guy but chose it as a guy

yeah i assumed he was a guy, i just said the writer. was tempted to say coach sam, just cos its sounds silly for an exam. but yeah. i spent waay too long on language analysis, like 15 mintues over what i should have..

yeah, those LBW were really good.. I also did the second one - I couldv'e done either but the 'setting' in the first one made me a bit sketchy.. so I went with the second one instead, I wrote heaps (5 and half pages).. it was good cos' I pretty much just wrote the same stuff as what I had been writing in my prac essays - hopefully an 8 or maybe 9

Oh, btw, what did you guys write for the donkey? I interpretted it as a symbol of stubborness, a limitted mindset and resistant to change/accept, but I really don't think that's right.

I hated the language analysis, not that it was hard, just that I couldn't make my language concise nor did my ideas show sophistication.

i said "ass" in quotation marks, and said more on the girl in the picture,,surrounded by white.
