u know the question where we needed to find the value of x for which the area is minimum...
did we need to show a gradient table?
oh shit, good point

was the answer to the probablity one 0.3? the traffic light one ? i kinda got stuck there

That's all correct...I think you mean f'(0) = 1 for 1)b) though, not 2)

I used graphical evidence, it's an oblique graph whose only stationary point is a local minimum for x>0, that is x=10*cuberoot(4)

i think this year was easier..
hhum
the cut off might be higher

anyone thinks so?

Shit no, last years was miles easier.

This exam wasn't much harder apart from Q9. I did an absolutely idiotic mistake on Q4a (Uhh... yeah... cospi equals 1, not 0!!! wtf was I thinking?) and I didn't have enough time to get the 3rd possibility of the cinema prob Q (was the last Q I did) and Q10 I screwed (did y = x + 1, I forgot the -1 on the original equation)

Make a poll, and we'll poll the results. :) Like a range of 40-38, 37-35 etc.....
2008 ENTER = 97.90
