The question is written incorrectly:

The masses of the particles should be 2M, 3M, 1.5M (ABC respectively).

The solutions made sense to me. What answers are you getting?

Fake edit: Haha, I didn't read the question properly. I was working it out with A=2, B=3, C=1.5. But the solutions have the right values.
