Flux graphs

How do we know When Flux starts at a positive or a negative When drawing the graph, if it depends on the current position of the coil and field. Please give examples.

Or do you assume flux lines hitting one side is positive and another is negative.

Yeah. Choose what means positive to you, and the opposite is then negative. Be consistent!
