Does anyone have the solutions to the unit 4 STAV 08 physics trial exam?

Thanks

Area of Study 2:
Question 2

Can you do this:
W=1.8eV (from graph)
=1.8x1.60x10^(-19)
=2.9x10^(-19) J

Question 6

What about:
lambda=h/p
=6.63E-34 / 7.94E-25
=8.35E-10 m

Also the answer to AOS1 Question 6 is wrong: it's missing the first second of constant flux (horizontal line at 2 from 0s-1s)

For question 2, i think you can do that
For question 6, the formula you used is to find the De Broglie wavelength which is only applicable to particles (like electrons), the questions asked for the wavelength of xray so you must use lambda = hc/E (even though both of them give the same answer). I might be wrong though, this is just how i think, physics is not my strong subject

And for the graph, it says "as it is being withdrawn" so i dont think the 1 second is counted, again, i might be wrong.

using Compton's equation (note the difference between it and De Broglie wavelength), it would be suitable.

De Broglie's wavelength and Compton's equation differ only in their physical implications, and are transposes of each other.
The prior describes the wave-like nature of particles, the latter describes the particle-like nature of waves.
