Is it possible to not get your enter in the mail?

Start now finding out what time the postie comes (eg for my house it is 11-1pm)
Learn to identify the postie bike sound
When he comes offer to go out and get the mail yourself. This makes you look like a good kid, and it will not look suspicious if for the first time in your life that you go to get the mail is december 16.
Although that plan would take effort :P
