It says what the exam is on the front cover, and the examiner should ask for you to check that you have the correct examination paper. How could NOBODY in the entire school have noticed?

I'm guessing they noticed but it was too late to change. You know how everyone in the state has to do it at the exact same time. I don't think there could've been a viable exception (or maybe tell the students to remain in the examination hall until they obtain a few hundred copies of the correct paper but undoubtedly some would've seen what's in the paper before few realise they've got the wrong paper).

Apparently for my French exam we get to start 5 mins late at 3.20pm.
Because otherwise the listening tasks would start at 3.15 when the bell goes and school finishes.
Hopefully everyone will have left by 3.20.
