i was at g50a today, that's a student study area...
Nah g50 is the student study area, g50a is like an honours room or something.

I'm in g69 now anyway (it's a computer lab).

Oh yeah, I'm giving a talk this Friday at 11am. The room will be somewhere on the second floor of the Richard Berry building. It seems to change from week to week, so I can't really be much more precise than that...
But yeah, if anyone out there is bored and interested in hearing on what one would get up to in a Vacation Scholarship in maths, then come along :) It'll be a 20 min or so talk on modular forms.

There'll be probably be one or two others (the talks usually go from 11 to 12). Each week a couple of people give a talk (there are about 20 people all up).

No idea. It's quite possible. There's been some pretty bizarre areas that other vacation scholars have talked about - tropical geometry, the motion of bubbles, the statistics involved with the habits of the Port Phillip Island penguins, and so on...
