Is anyone else going to be battling with copious amounts of questions, essays, summaries and the like over the course of the summer break?

Yeah, i'm going to go through a little bit of spesh, physics and methods. But not alot of work as I really want to relax before the stress of next year comes.

Do what you feel is necessary and not what others do.
I'm going to read my English texts inside out. That is all for the time being.

Oh and I hope you don't go forward with your "copious amounts of questions, essays and summaries" unless you're so used to studying all day you don't know the meaning of breaks because by May (that is, if you keep this up everyday all the way thorough the holidays and terms 1 and 2) you're going to be feeling like absolute crap by the time mid years come.

- Read english texts
- Go chem unit 3 with tutor

for my other subjects I might skim over the textbook (if even that), nothing serious

lolll ahh the new year 12's for 2009! . .
i still remember me being like this at the start of this year!
i wish you all the best of luck for next year and remember to always give everything your 100% so you will not have any regreats in the long run. and i dont mean getting 100% sac marks etc either. your best is what your capable of. to achieve your best, you set yourself some small goals. lets say. your first sac for the year is out. you really wanted an A+ but then when your paper came you saw that it was a B+, you dont loose hope because one sac will not stuff up your whole study score. u aim to do better and better in each sac. just make it a game. "beat my last sac mark" yeah sounds lame but it works. well for me it did. even if your an A+ student but only get 90's .. you still have room for improvement to make them 90's a 100%.. and even for the ones that get a D for their first sac. just imagine how accomplished and proud you will feel when you reach an A or an A+ with your pesistants throughh out the year. ?

just another tip guys, EVERYONE starts of strong and ready to tackle the VCE game. butt towards term 2. is when individuals begin to crack. (yes even the ones that are "naturally smart") this experiance isnt about testing how smart you are. its really testing your determination and passion to succeed. so please dont ever give up next year. and remember, NO REGRETS !

oh yeah and i would also recommened reading your books on the summer break. getting them study guide books based on the actual ones. their usually called "insight - yada yada yada book  name here" and yeah has really good summaries and ideas for ur essays. With your other subjects do as much as you can without draining yourself.

AND REMEMBER TO RELAXXXXXXXXXXXX AND ENJOY YOUR LAST PROPER SCHOOL HOLIDAY UNTIL YEAR 12 IS OVER!
cause you sure wont be getting any holidays throughout the year. oh maybe in term 1 holidays when things are not as busy.. but dont waste them 2 weeks ends up catching up with u in the long run.

Take it easy guys.

Its basically the last holidays you ever get.

Just do the basics.

Read your novels for english, get started on the first chapters or what ever.

Dont go over board.

You will burn out :)

Good Luck!
